The Wattage CAP232 built with 3 Hitec HS-55 Servos, Hitec 555
Receiver, Hacker B20 18L motor Geared 4-1, Hacker Master 18amp ESC w/BEC, and
3S2P-1200LiPoly
batteries.
This is everything out of the box. As you can see
there is very little left to do before you are in the air. |
 |
First I bolted the wing on through the pre cut holes. I made sure the
tail parts aligned then glued them in place. |
 |
Next I glue the control hinges in place with the supplied
CA hinges. |
 |
The servos were installed next by simply drilling holes and
securing them in place with the screws supplied with the servos. |
 |
After the servos are installed I bent wire to the right
length and connected them to the control rods. |
 |
Attach the landing gear, install the receiver and esc and
your done. |
 |
Aero-Model sells this nice little mount that bolts to the
existing beams. |
 |
This is 2 3-cell packs of LiPoly cells taped end to end.
To get the CG right I had to remove the wood under the motor and push the
batteries almost all the way forward. |
 |
The finished plane ready to fly. |
 |
This is a 9mb video of the CAP232 with the Hacker power
system and 3S2P-1200 LiPoly's I am averaging over 20 minutes of awesome
performance. |
